Family business, custom plant engineering, Upper Austria

We have designed and built in Buchkirchen near Wels since 1980. The company is led by Herta Wildfellner.

Wildfellner is the Austrian market leader for shaftless spiral conveying technology. We supply far beyond the German-speaking countries — exports account for 50 to 60 percent, sold through a worldwide dealer network.

What sets us apart from suppliers of catalogue goods is how we work: almost every system that leaves our works is a custom build. It grows out of the customer's actual task — out of their bulk material, their building and their process.

That requires consulting, engineering and manufacturing to sit together. And that is exactly how we work: from the first design to the spare part from one source, made in our own works in Upper Austria.

The customer and their application are at the centre of what we do.

Milestones

  1. 1980Isidor Wildfellner sets up on his own in Buchkirchen near Wels.
  2. 1983Specialisation in shaftless spiral conveying systems — the principle that has been the basis of every system from our works ever since.
  3. 1986The first hall is built.
  4. 1989The second hall is built, with production and an extended store.
  5. 1990Trade fair appearances begin: Hanover, Salzburg, IFAT Munich, Wels, Switzerland, Italy and South Tyrol.
  6. 2000A property letting business is founded in Wels.
  7. 2007Ing. Markus Wildfellner passes away.
  8. 2008The founder, Isidor Wildfellner, passes away.
  9. 2009A private foundation is established.
  10. 2015Named Company of the Month by the Upper Austrian Chamber of Commerce.
  11. 202040 years of intelligent engineering.
  12. 2022 and 2025Pegasus awards from the province of Upper Austria.
