Conveying bulk material in further industries
The same operating principle carries far beyond our four main fields — from metering the smallest quantities to the spare part from stock.
The span of the principle is the actual point: it carries from metering trace quantities up to 600 m³/h of throughput — depending on bulk density — at diameters from 30 to 700 millimetres, in steel and stainless steel.
The field of use is correspondingly broad. In steel and stainless steel fabrication it is swarf, scale and blasting media. In the waste, scrap, glass and paper industries it is material that is bulky, abrasive and inconsistent all at once. And with sludges and filter cakes it is a tough, sticky consistency that conventional screw conveyors regularly fail at.
Added to that are mills, pharmaceuticals and metering technology, where an even, paced material flow is what counts.
A field of its own are screening solutions, where the fine fraction is discharged within the running conveyor — without an extra process step and without a stationary screen.
And finally we also supply the component on its own: more than 150 rigid conveying spirals in different sizes are held in stock.
