Type RL(N) — the rugged one
Robust augers
For large volumes and bulky material. Built as a tube or trough conveyor, in steel or stainless steel.
The rigid range covers diameters from 50 to 700 millimetres. The systems are built both as tube and as trough conveyors — which version fits depends on the material, on accessibility and on how often it has to be cleaned.
Because the conveying spiral is free to move and runs without a centre shaft, wood chips are handled particularly gently. Bulky recycled material can likewise be moved without punishing the system, and with little wear.
Main areas of use
- Moving quantities of up to 600 m³/h, depending on bulk density
- Moving bulky material up to roughly 400 mm item length
- Materials with difficult properties — abrasive, fibrous, sticky
- Tasks with high duty cycles of up to 8,700 hours a year

Type range
| Durchmesser | max. length | Throughput | Motor rating | Particle length |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 80–120 | 20–30 m | 2–7 m³/h | 0,37–1,5 kW | < 50 mm |
| 120–150 | 20–30 m | 4–15 m³/h | 0,75–4 kW | < 80 mm |
| 150–200 | 20–30 m | 5–25 m³/h | 1,5–5,5 kW | < 120 mm |
| 200–280 | 20–30 m | 10–40 m³/h | 1,5–5,5 kW | < 150 mm |
| 280–350 | 15–30 m | 25–125 m³/h | 3–15 kW | < 200 mm |
| 350–500 | 15 m | 50–220 m³/h | 4–18,5 kW | < 250–300 mm |
| 500–700 | 10–15 m | 150–600 m³/h | 4–22 kW | < 300–400 mm |
(N) denotes the stainless steel version. All figures are non-binding guide values — the binding design can only be made once the material, the route and the requirement profile are known.
