Bunker filling

Material taken from the intake hopper and conveyed vertically into the bunker — up to 28 metres with no transfer station.

Bunker filling — Wildfellner conveying system in service

The material is taken over by a horizontal trough conveyor with an intake hopper. It can stand above floor level or be recessed into the ground — depending on how deliveries arrive.

Where the intake trough is recessed, we build the guard gratings as heavy-duty gratings on request. They then take vehicles with axle loads of up to 10 tonnes, so tipping directly over the intake is possible.

The vertical conveyor that follows lifts the material up to 28 metres. Because the same shaftless spiral works both horizontally and vertically, the transfer station between the two sections is unnecessary — and with it the most failure-prone point of such a system.

Safety equipment to the applicable European standards is supplied with the system, as are covers protecting against the weather.
